For those of you following along with my health issues
We got all of the test results from my first battery of tests back except the blood screens, those take a lot longer to process apparently.
My white blood cell count has returned to normal, my spleen has shrunk 0.5 CM (About a quarter inch), the lymph nodes around my pancreas are no longer showing signs of being enlarged, my liver tested fine, and I'm sure a bunch of other stuff.
All in all, the results were wholly inconclusive, but in this case that's what we wanted to hear. They still suspect Lymphoma, but they aren't making it the prime suspect at this point.
I have to follow up with the specialist again in a month, and then I have to see another specialist in October who will decide what action if any we need to take. I may be subjected to a bone marrow test at that point, but I'm hopeful that things will settle down and I won't need further tests.
Thank you everyone for your well wishes and your friendship through this very trying time, this is my second cancer scare in 2006 and let me tell you, it sure shakes your foundation.
