Lots of people have, and they solved it by telling Fusker don't do it anymore... and they didn't. -

he's not being hotlinked. He listed his site with fusker (a tgp). Now they are sending him more than he wants which is screwing his bandwidth.
I have emailed webmaster@fusker to get the domain removed although this hasn't happened yet.Comment

Italianstyle posted his URL which is a tgp. He's not being hotlinked he's being straight linked. His .htaccess is in place now but he is listed with them until they remove his domain from their database.Comment

Thats one way , but the bandwidth stays the same if your using an image as a redirect..
Unless your in a legal position to sue, then its best to just use .htaccess and email the webhost. ( and the other method i suggested )hatisblack at yahoo.comComment

It is not his pictures being hotlinked.
Italianstyle posted his url to a few forums. One being fusker. He is still learning and wanted to boost traffic. He learned quickly this was a wrong thing to do.
So they are not hotlinking him they are simply linking him. I have already fixed his .htaccess against links from fusker. however with all the fusker domains out there this is not a simple solution.Comment

When you said this , you didnt say how you had come to this conclusion. Thus the only logical explanation to anyone in the thread is " he must have assumed it " because he never mentioned he had spoken to him , and italianstyle never mentioned posting his url to fusker .
If you had said "i just spoke with italianstyle and he actually posted his url to fusker on purpose ( unlike the 5000 other threads about fusker where people are asking about hotlinking )" then the rest of the thread ( me ) would have understood what your saying

First, legal action is bullshit. He's gonna sue someone after he willingly posted his own links? His mistake, bite it and learn from it.
Second, rewrite commands in .htaccess can easily bounce the traffic off somewhere else based on the referrer. Just redirect anything with the word fusker in it off to google, or back to fusker, and it goes away, hotlinking or not.Comment
