The joined triangles was made in a program called Shade (e-frontier) - It's no where near 3D Max, but a hell of a lot cheaper So when you, like me, dont do a lot of 3D work it covers the need.

I only did the basic triangle shape in Shade, then exported it to Illustrator where the text was added - then yet another export to photoshop where the reflection was added.
