well realistically a license isn't going to be valid without them knowing the domains they will be displayed on. Most reputable content providers i know would require that info signed and returned before you could use it.
Im sure most content providers aren't going to hassle you for putting it up while you send in the info. But i would be very suspect of a content company that let you use content without any such information being signed as the content will most likely be overused ( i.e. no license requirements means 1 person could have the same content on 5000 domains for the same price you have it on 1 domain)

I agree. But I have done it both ways, and have never had problems. I have bought gigs of content that I had to sign contracts for before I could use it, and I have also bought tons from Zip Content that I digitally signed for on their site with no physically signed contract with zero problems over the years. Buy on the suitability of the content to the surfer, not on the convenience to you.
The surfer handing over $30 a month does not give a rat's arse if you had an instant download or had to wait a month for your content, he cares about whether the cotnet fit's his niche and turns him on.
We send an FTP email within hours of recieving the order/payment. Have to check who's buying it.
As for it going on 5,000 domains, those guys buy content for $5 a set or blow outs with unlimited domains. You want content that is not everywhere look at buying around $40 - $50 a set or video with a limited license.Comment
