    Why are G3x (wegcash) free cams $5 ???

    Why are G3x charging people $5 for free cams? Is it just a credit card check and they put it back or do they not know what free means?

    Naturally no one is answering their phone on Sunday.

      If they are advertising it as free then it should be free otherwise some surfers are going to be pretty pissed off. Is there something in the TOS that says free means 5 bucks, or is there a box to uncheck so that you ONLY get the free membership?

          it's $5.00 towards credit to the cam shows..


          Its marketing...it's free to get into the cam membership but to view shows it costs $ and the surfers creditcard is already on file.

          Helps filter out the cheap asses

                  Lots of cam sites do this.
                  Ifriends does a 1.00 charge I do belive even though they say it is free.
                  Some just hold up the money but do not take it out.

                      Actually ifriends auto upgrades everyone that signs up for the free cc verify to vip status and auto rebills $6.99/mo after the first month. They provide a vip cancel link, but its nicely hidden with super small text. Its ifriends dirty little secret.

                              That is just a pre-checked option at sign up. You can turn it off. What I'm talking about you can't turn off.

                                          It is a basic auth charge. It falls off if the consumer does nothing; acts as a credit if they do.

                                                                              Folks, this is done all the time. The rental car places do it, when you buy gas with a credit/debit card it happens, hotels do it....it's a preauth, not a charge.
