Ebay! I had to Outbid for one of my own comic books! Deeammn!!!n

Fuckin' greedy bastards!

I have several comic books that have been optioned for movie developement. One of them is with another company. It too got snagged up for a movie deal and when I tried to get an extra copy on Ebay greedy bastards started outbidding me to get a rare copy!

I had to fight tooth and nail for 3 fucking days to get one of my own comic books??? WTF???

When the book came out it was hot but low print run. Then fans liked it so much one of them put up a website about just ONE fucking issue I wrote and drew. Now there's a fucking fight over it?

That shit pisses me off. Yeah it's great the values on all my books have gone up but I hate having to fight over them.

yeah I should have. I rarely do Ebay but what pisses me off is how many people make money off of my shit!

I was stunned to find out a couple weeks ago that a pal of mine sold $30k worth of my books on Ebay! Then told me I should publish more without telling me why he suddenly had this brainstorm.

Ah, it's all good. Just mad I had to shell out for my own stuff.

Of course I have copies but publishers and customers and collectors have MORE. That's why they BUY them. Ya never know when your work will be picked up for film or tv or toys and when it does word travels fast so guys start snagging up shit fast. I just caught on at the last minute.

i think its pretty pathetic that someone interested in you and your stuff would get the reply you gave about comic book speculators. christ.
if you love your craft i would think you would want to share it, would want others who had interest to hear about it and also enjoy it.. instead you are worried that by mentioning the titles someone might then be bidding against you?
you also create a thread in an effort to bring attention to yourself, however you then thwart this attention and snuff someone curious about your stuff?
