From the latest AVN Online magazine:
'Geelan, president, chief executive officer, and legal counsel for YNOT Network LP, warned foreign Webmasters not to become too complacent simply because most of the day?s discussion centered on US issues. "While I know of no cases yet where a foreign Webmaster was brought to trial in the US," he said, "since the Internet is accessible globally, recent US Supreme Court decisions support the notion that a non-US-based Webmaster may still be hauled into court in the US for violating US laws, assuming that the US government has an extradition treaty in place with the country in which the Webmaster lives - or if they can catch the Webmaster while he is visiting the US - and the US government has the resources and desire to pursue prosecuting the Webmaster."'
