The way I see it, there are two issues.

1. Is DigiPawn.com a loan shark? No. We don't loan anything to anyone. We pawn goods. That means that we buy the item and give the pawner a right to buy the item back at an increased cost. We are no more a loan shark than a porn site is a prostitution ring. Thank God for grey areas.

2. If I pawn an item to someone in Japan am I breaking the law in Japan? No. The transaction happens in Atlanta, GA Fulton County. That's where the company is, that's where are servers are, and that is where the funds are paid from.

Incredible. Many of us have lived a full life already, being in this industry. Hunting in Argentina was the most unique experience I've had in some time. I'd share stories on the board but I think some people would be offended.

This may be my last post before I get on a 12 hour flight. It's a shame because I'm sure I'll need to defend myself.

We charge a lot more than 25% on an anual basis. We are a pawnshop. We aren't a bank. We charge 15% a month. That's 180 percent a year. Our average client pays us back in a few weeks, though. I'll make no excuses. It doesn't really matter.

The bottom line is that if someone reads this, needs money fast and has security to put up for a deposit, they will be coming to me. We are here to help when traditional methods don't work. Incidentally, Georgia law allows us to charge up to 30% a month. We only charge 15%.

We are also willing to negotiate from time to time on high-profile clients and loans of greater than 10,000 dollars.

Believe me, you will all be happy about the interest rate when I launch my affiliate program next week.
