I'm at Peekay, though not in the Inet department. They have been pretty buried over there, and not as fast as they could be at getting the stuff.

Yes, the CNAMEs have gone away. They are great on the one side, but on this side they caused immense amounts of support calls between affiliates, us, and random domain hosts all over because of people not doing it right. We have done a couple of custom stores on the new software, but they are pretty time-intensive, so it's only been for affiliates that are in the $10k/mo. range for several months. (I don't know what you're at, just an example)

As far as the affiliate links, we're still paying the same commisions on the new stuff, and the new stores are so much better than the old ones that conversions have been up pretty decently on our own stores that we changed a few months back, so you should actually make more money.

As far as a way to fix your current store, I would recommend putting up an entry page that store. points to on your host, and then having a go to store link, or just doing a simple redirect. That way people can still go to your site anytime they want to shop.
