I am trying to be fair to LC - I really am.
when I arrived I not only asked AVN and security that rather than request he be banned - I felt it fair that instead I have security nearby so that in case he attempts to contact me I can have someone remove him. I wanted him to stay away from me so that I wouldn't be harassed. Judging from the many comments I heard from webmasters and those in the industry he just creeps everyone out - kind of like a guy who would kill someone merely to get his name in the papers for attention.
I asked him on another board - and I do thank LC for keeping a distance.. I have to respect that. Those that hurt him, or merely entertained themselves at his expense for me - are worse than LC... yet...Most importantly I DID ask AVN and the security to watch over Lawrence knowing that when others know of his presence - someone is going to take a punch at him or attempt to harm him. Although I am not friends nor fond of him over his treatment of webmasters - the industry and myself, I still do not believe a man should be physically harmed. Security assured me they would watch over LC so that anyone looking to harm him, he would be protected.
My sense is he needs to seriously consider a lawsuit if this event happened.
but as vid said, my heart goes out for the guy - and violence is never the answer - but LC has threatened, harassed and annoyed more than a few in this industry - and many have been hurt for far less.
