Here's a good rule of thumb.

If you owe somebody something, don't avoid them. Make good on the debt as best you can. They will handle this a lot better than they will handle you avoiding them.

That's so true. The worst part is he ignored me for a while, then after I chased him around GFY he contacted me, agreed to chat about a payment plan after his shower.... then never returned.
