It isn't a festival. It starts at night. I have no idea what the deal is. Moose sees them all the time so I figured this time I would see what all the hype is about.
It should be sweet though. Free Biiird!

Its with The Allman Brothers silly, stuff your pops listens to lol.
Allman Brothers Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd tour quite a bit together. It's a great double bill. I have seen them play together three times over the years, plus I am a big ABB fan - I've seen them over a dozen times (great jam band).
Actually there is still a Van Zant, Johnny Van Zant , Ronnie's little brother who has actually been in the band longer now than Ronnie ever was. Take it as you want, but it is still a hell of a show.
cool - I like Skynyrd - except for Freebird (can it get more played out?) That should be an awesome show - they can do 2 solid hours of nothing but great songs, easy.
$90? did you buy thru a broker, like ticketmaster? Only times I've paid more is when I have scalped seats at the last minute. I think I paid like $250 to see The Firm (Jimmy Page + Paul Rodgers) - but it was worth every penny.
$90 bucks is nothing... My friend paid like $400 for Madonna
Your friend had a serious moment of madness. If you are going to pay that much atleast do it for someone that actually sings live.
Most I paid was $150 for my first REM gig but that was the Monster tour and I was afraid they were going to all drop dead and I would never get to see my faveorite band. Four shows and a decade later it was still worth it. Most amazing musical night of my life.
Yes, their lead singer, backup singer and guitarist. Another guitarist and their original bass player have since died. Just add a bunch of new people, continue to call yourself Lynyrd Skynyrd and you're good to go
