    We just got a call from a friend who is a Doctor in Cuba. Fidel Castro has been taken into surgery for rectal bleeding, and is in Critical condition. He was able to delegate some powers to certain people around him just prior to, but he may not make it.

    For a lot of people this is good news.

    We still dont have anything on US news, but this is info that comes just after the fact that the US announced that they had a plan on dealing with Cuba right after Castro was gone.

                          This might be the end of ol Fidel, and maybe the rebirth of trade relations with Cuba, which is especially nice since they just found some lucrative oil reserves

                                                      I sure would like to be able to vacation freely in Cuba though.
