    Wpa-psk?

ok got so many damn routers in the area I need to be 200% safe so Ive set up WPA-PSK, that safe enough? Time is set to 24 hrs, broadcast off, takes a bit longer but its safer isnt it?

    128-bit as well?
I did see a program a few weeks back that could pick up any PSK code after sniffing around for a while. Was posted on GFY, quick search should reveal it.

yeah 128 that program works yes, but it takes a hell of a time to get the code, if your passphrase is TEST then it takes 15 mins, if its DSFG654HGD45HGF then it takes a year I posted that btw...

What do you use your WIFI network for?

A list of devices would be nice

Quite honestly i couldnt give a rats ass about someone sniffing my wireless connection... I transfer all my SSH/SCP keys over using the LAN so my keys cannot be sniffed. Now when i log into my servers over the WIFI i know its secure. I state what devices can connect to the router's via the MAC filter so that only my devices can establish a connection.

If people want to sniff my GFY web-sessions then by all means go for it!

Put the router on its own subnet/network address. Opent he router up and filter the mac address so only your shit can connect. Have the router plugged into a NIC on a computer which is also plugged into your LAN. establish an ipsec connection between your laptop and the computer that has the router plugged in to.

IF anyone manages to connect to router they wont get anywhere and if someone tries to sniff it then they wont get the crappy wifi encryption but rather some real encryption.

ok well I was gonna think bout filtering the MAC adress but the other stuff is gonna get hard with all the connections

Indeed, your BEST bet is to run a wifi lan which is protected (ipsec) and connect devices such as your laptop/pda (if it supports ipsec) to it and have another wifi network for your other devices which arent capable of taking advantage of ipsec
