    Israeli air attack kills 54 civilians, including 19 children just today

    The real face of Israeli is revealed. Gotta love how much they were crying and whining about genocide, but when they are behind the trigger of the gun, they would not raise an eye brow, before killing children.

                                                          As stated in the other thread several times, if you're a member of a terrorist group and choose to commit acts of aggression and then hide amongst civilians you in all likelyhood are going to get many of those civilians killed. Whose fault it is is certainly debatable, but in this case I see it as a useless debate.

                                                          The most important question in this issue is how to once and for all stop the cycle of hate.

                                                          You are apparently falling right into that cycle.

                                                                  Only my but no longer accept an automatic labelling of anyone nor cliched expressions purportedly to support a cause.

                                                                  The propagada machine is working well - or was, and where the Lebanese or Hezbollah had no voice. That is now failing in that Israel is open to international criticism and their supporters and arms suppliers, the US, are starting to feel "uncomfortable" - despite verbal insistance that there should be no attempts at a ceasefire.

                                                                  It never was about Hezbollah or "terrorist organizations" and even questionable about any concern for Israel.

                                                                                              There is a long history of the media not reporting civilian casualties. It's always been accepted as a sad fact of war. So governments know they can get away with it as long as the masses never find out about how bad it really is.

                                                                                              The civilian deaths in Lebanon at the hands of Israel marks the first time I can recall that such a focus has been put on civilian deaths. The Israeli government likely did not expect this bad press, and this could signal a change in how the media reports this aspect of war from now on.

                                                                                              My opinion is that the breaking point was the civilian body count in Iraq. We have "accidentally" killed around 40,000 civilians there (that number is based on reported deaths only, it is believed to be higher). This figure went largely unreported during the first phase of the war when most of them were happening. Now people question why so many had to die to remove one man from power and take out a weak army.

                                                                                              I think instead of waiting until they see the end result and asking why, the media is now asking the questions early on. I think everybody should support this type of coverage.
