It was an awesome movie and an even better comic book/movie crossover. Every line that was in the movie was in the comics.
Whats even better is the fact they shot all 7 books, though only 3 were in the movie. Hooray for the DVD release!Comment

you watch the first bit thinking where is this movie going, then 20 minutes into it, you realize it's not going anywhere. One of the worst movies I've seen this year, I was hoping the movie would turn into something but it gets boring REAL quick.Comment

I liked it alot. It was a totally unique style of movie and the action was awesome.
I will say that they needed to go less comic book and more movie with it, but I'm sure all the comic books freaks out there will say that it was the holy grail of comics turned movies.SIG TOO BIG! groundbreaking comic book -> movie adaptation, and has set the standard for that genre.
I foresee Sin City's cinematic style being appropriated in at least some way by many comic movies to come, but, they will only be cheap knockoffs just as Matrix's 'bullet-time' technology has been constantly borrowed.
Novel camerawork, great casting, furious action, cutting lines, faithfulness to the comic, titties, gore, and just plain FUN to watch.Comment

I knew everything that happened and this time i was able to see the faithfullness to the comics and enjoy to watch

I fucking loved it... The black and white and color highlights were really well done, the cheesy detective novel like monologues where awesome, and the senseless violence was great. I'll probably see it again.Comment
