Obviously on a $150 mil picture if you want Steadicam you GET Steadicam. So the shaky handheld stuff was on purpose. If you watch the last battle scene, it's been constructed to look and sound like news footage from a war zone.

Exactly, take the movie HEAT (which he also produced) for example. It was made that way on purpose. Some people just don't get that kind of shit I guess. I love his flicks.
