Much, although Blue-Ray currently supports 1080p resolution. Future HD DVD players will also support 1080p but the current Toshiba models do not.

But in order to get this resolution your HDTV must have a HDMI 1.1 or newer input. Even a DVI input that supports HDCP will be compatible with the players due to copyright bullshit.Comment
