One of the biggest issues we all face is the huge amount of free porn. Like google images, yahoo newsgroups or youtube type of stuff. If we enlisted some lobbyists to get these guys inluded it could close the doors on that stuff of give us bigger backers in our fight against 2257.
Can we use 2257?

I don't see how they are exempt from 2257 when they are reformatting and hosting adult content themselves. Personally I'd like to see the image searches stop aggregating all the free content on the net. I think the tgp selling technique only works well when it is such a hassle to find all the little pieces. Image searches make it too easy to find all that you could want!
If Yahoo and Google and MSN and Guba want to give away my content, they should have an affiliate agreement with me and be subject to my TOS just like everyone else. Otherwise, they are massively infringing on my copyrights and stomping on sales for everyone.

We would all do a lot better if we could shut all those down and that's a fact.Comment

How do you think the image searches would change for the better if all sponsors agreed to pay the search engines the sames as a referring affiliate? In other words, if they shovel traffic to my affiliates, they get paid 10% on all those affiliate's commissions. I would agree to that RIGHT NOW.Originally posted by SteveLightspeedI don't see how they are exempt from 2257 when they are reformatting and hosting adult content themselves. Yep, under the search engine part of this. But what is a TGP? It is a hand picked search engine with links to stuff the owner thinks people will like. Using a thumbnail just like google. So if we cannot beat them can we join them? Or if they get thrown in the 2257 pool will they hire big guns to help us?Originally posted by spacedogthey're exempt from 2257Comment
