It was showed me that there is alot of dumb ass people in this industry looking to make a quick buck, Alot of dip shits that fly off the handle of sigs, images, videos, anything and everything.

I'm starting to compile a list of people i would never do business with by just their character on the board, If they act like a complete jack ass on a board then most likely they are fuck wads in real life until proven other wise by meeting face to face at conventions, etc.

Thats true but I can tell between a "character" and whats not, Like i just been reading some of those AlienQ threads, This guy is a fucking nut job, Trying to successfully run a business yet he turns red every time someone pokes at him, Good example of what being made fun of as a kid does to a person.

Business is business..... board shit is board shit. I tend to generally keep them separate, at least in the way of who I will and won't do business with. Everyone gets at least a chance in my opinion. Someone can board-piss with me all day, but screw me over once for real in business and it's game over.

The boards are a place to get release from the pressures of the office.

Most webmasters work from home. Most by definition are recluses (no offense to anybody). In a typical office environment people get release by stopping at the local pub on the way home. Webmasters don't rarely get a chance to do this. Therefore they find release on the webmaster boards.

Sometimes people post for business, sometimes to have a little laugh to break the monotony of the day and other times just to break free from looking at code all day long and wondering why a simple program won't work.

I hear it all the times that peoples behaviour on the boards stop people from dealing with them. Well I really don;t find that to be a fair statement. Because if this was a real office environment and we were all at the pub someone would have to much to drink and make an ass of himself and the next day it would be laughed off. However here on the boards when people make an ass of themselves in the same manner it haunts them for months.

I think if you are the type of person who won't do business with someone because they are going through a rough time and spout off on the boards a little bit then this business isn't for you.

I mean really think about it here. We are pushing porn for a living and we get offended by someone who doesn't spell you're or your correctly, or someone who releases frustrations publicly ... but post a picture of ******* and everyone laughs.

The boards are what they are no more and no less. Consider them the bars of the adult webmaster world and you'd think differently the next time someone makes a mistake on the boards.

If you search you will see this is out of character for AlienQ ... I believe he's having a crisis of somekind and won't come public with it (not that it's any of our business)

Totally understand, I mean i dont judge by first appearence, If the person has fucked up once maybe they was new and was nerveous,etc .. Just when people go on and on with stuff, I mean AlienQ i dont know the guy personally but from what ive seen over the past few months this guy has some anger issues, I wouldnt want to deal with someone as a client or partner that could blow up at the tip of a hat :\
