Have you ever dumped them at the altar?

Don't ask me why, but I am watching a movie that is ending with a wedding, and got me to thinking.

I remember the first time, standing on the altar, church loaded with friends and family, she was walking up the aisle, and all I could do was look to my best man and wonder why he wasn't pulling me out of there.

The next time I got married in my backyard with about 300 friends looking on. I think the only reason I did not back out was because there were so many people there, and I did not have the guts to tell them to keep their presents and enjoy the free food and alcohol.

So, were any of you brave enough to wise up before saying "I do?"

I took a dump and it was ultra nasty... does that count?

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

I almost didnt show up to my 2nd wedding. It was in a huge church and like 150 of my exwife's friends and family and maybe 15 of mine because it was 1600 miles from my hometown. The planning of the wedding and the events leading up to it were so stressful that I didnt want anything to do with it. And I still wish I hadnt showed up for that shit, so maybe her mom woulda had a heart attack or something. Would have saved me alot of misery later

Never done that, but I've left one after the wedding by just leaving the country - it's good to be back in the US ;)

no way, weddings = waste of time & money

I laugh at people who spend thousands on them, and the file divorce.

not necessary at all aside from tax reasons.

Haven't taken it as far as the altar yet, so no.

Close, was engaged once, but broke it off cold with her after a stormy 4 year relationship after wising up about facing the fact that she had a horrible temper and a bad drinking problem. No altar!
