My cousin Christina and good friend Tamar got into a huge car accident yesterday, where Tamar was driving her SUV and lost control on a windy road...
Tamar was driving, her seatbelt on, and my cousin was right in back of her, without a seatbelt.
Turns out the entire roof and left side of the car was destroyed, and they both managed to fly out of the car (they were 5 in the car, and both of them had the worst injuries)
My cousins face is destroyed, broken teeth, broken nose, etc
Her elbow is crushed into a thousand pieces
Her spleen and liver are severely damaged
Her 2 hips and 2 femurs are broken
Her left knee and kneecap are crushed into a thousand pieces as well
and she can't remember anything about the accident...
Tamar had her spleen removed, from what we know, but is into another hospital because the hospitals in that region are not capable of having more than 1 trauma patient at a time.
my family is completely devestated, as we do not know if there were any brain damages to my cousin or if she will be able to walk normally again.
we might have to fly in sometime soon to go and see them
really hope they both turn out well, as christina is the closest thing I have to a sister, and Tamar is a girl I really care about.
