Seperating "Fucking Around and Program Discussion" into two areas?

Just a thought. There's a heavy emphasis on fucking around, which I'm all for, though sometimes it's a pain filtering though some of the fucking around threads to get to the business ones.

It also seems like some of the good business threads fall of the page way too fast and might be missed by alot of people who could benefit from them.

Do you think it's time to seperate "Fucking around and program discussion" into two seperate areas?

maybe it should be tested... there ARE business threads here that don't fall in the newbie q&a or traffic and other forums... but the cutie posts of cats and dogs, youtube vids and general drama drown them out... why not try and see if anyone respects 'em...?

many many boards have tried toe bullshit section and biz sections

no one moved ... everything stayed the same ... bullshit and biz stayed in the bullshit area

What about adding a special designation for business threads, making them easier to search? Like a checkbox or additional search tag?

Since we have room for it couldn't we actually have a section of page one, say the top 10 or 15 spots designated to carry ONLY business threads with the BS starting a little lower on the page. This would definitely encourage more posting of business threads.

GFY could still have the single pinthread as they do know for advertisers and sponsors but it would sure save a lot of time for those that are here for business first and BS second.

Can't we all just get along on the same page?

every board you can go to there is always some who want it only biz threads, no bullshit threads.
those boards I don't visit as often unless I have certin needs at the time
I need my bullshit and drama threads to read, keeps life online from being boring
