Yeah, unfortunately these "racist stereotype" words are promoted by ignorant people who fallaciously believe something to be true regardless of the facts that there is no real truth to them (these terms were conjured up by people who were jealous of the success of certain Jewish people)

You must be very narrow minded and unsympathetically ideological about something or other to not see the difference between being enlightened on such a subject and seeing red when someone uses such an inflammatory and derogatory term at you. From what I know of it, the term "He jewed me" stemmed from the belief that Jews were all very very VERY good with money and very thrifty to the point that anyone who got the shorter end of the stick on a financial transaction got "jewed", that's all. I don't know of anyone in all the years I was growing up who meant that they got swindled. To me, Jews are not thieves, but many are good business people. Some aren't.

I wouldn't go comparing them to the Firengi or anything.

I thought about it for a couple of minutes, and I think that our difference in views on this subject is due to my lack of understanding of offense as an emotion. I either haven't experienced the emotion of offense or none of us have because of it not existing as such. Based on my experience of seeing people become offended, they way they become offended, and the issues they take offense to, I think it is logical for me to suspect that being offended is really just a nice term for adults having infantile reactions to the reality of not being able to have it their way all the time. Do you have any input on this?

I do see your point and it wasn't lost on me earlier either. I am just relating how it effected me to such a degree that I los tmy composure and ability to deal with the situation rationally like nothing else I have experienced. I don't have a problem or take offense with any discourse on sensitive issues, but for me when someone says "he tried to jew me" or the like, it caused a reaction that I can't explain except that I saw "red" at that moment and lost it. It is a highly prejudicial term and I don't think people appreciate how awful it can be taken because of how loaded with hatred or ignorance it truly is.
