Im not sure if anyone knows about this and im hoping no one gets pissed with me for posting this, but Ric Really Really needs all the support from friends. He is one of the nicest guys in the business and always was there to help with anything.

He went in for Throat surgery a few days ago and the surgery didnt go well. He is now in intensive care, but he is stable, thank god. I know alot of you have worked, dealt, partied, and hung out with Ric and you know he is one of the nicest guys there is in this business. Please say a prayer for him, he really needs it right now. I have his hospital info if anyone wants to visit or send something (he cant accept flowers in ICU) contact me via icq

Wow, I'm shocked to hear this news. I met Ric on Vegas 2006 January, Internext and we had some members area traffic going Mallcom's way before. When we met his voice wasn't in a good condition aswell wasn't sure if it always been that way. I wish you the best Ric!

Ric's like a brother to me. Someone that is not like most of the adult characters you meet on the boards. He probably knows more about me and my life then anyone else. I took the train in earlier today to NY to go see him today and stayed there for 3 hours. He is in the SICU and stable. When the nurse tried to wake him he opened his eyes and looked at me and did a ric smile. He is heavily medicated so he doesnt know whats going on and is sleeping. He is doing better then he was before the nurses told me and his fever went down from the 103 that it was at before.

It was very hard for me to see him like that. It was nice to meet his mom and to bring some comfort to her life. I told her what a great son that she has and offered my support. As vin said, Please say a prayer for him. Ric is a very strong person and I know he will not give up with out one hell of a fight.

I have realized alot lately by having my father go under the knife a couple weeks ago for back surgery and know having to see ric like this . Life is too short for all of the BS that many of us get mad over. Money is not everything . Your health, family and friends are the most important things in life.

I also spoke to Ric right before he went in and he has never left my thoughts. He is one of the few people that i truly consider a friend ... and not an industry friend, but a real friend.

I also have the address to send him stuff too if someone needs it ....

I just Spoke to his nurse and she said that he has come along way and is doing better. Thank god. I am going to up to take the train back into the city and cab it to the hospital to see him later on. I will give you an update when I get back.

Sorry to bump this old thread but just wanted to say thanks to Vinnie and all the people who have expressed their support...it has been an ordeal and after nearly 2 months i made it out of the hospital...

Cancer is gone from the larinx, at the expense of having it removed, but hey could be worse i could be a midget...on a good note thanks to medical advancements soon i will be able to speak again with my normal voice and not a mr roboto one..

Thanks once again and we will be seeing each other soon
