We did a mailing for TeenRevenue to all webmasters that have ever signed on with us to use any of our programs.
That would include our original sites (teenagepink, virtualvids, etc..) which each had their own individual affiliate services directly through CCBill. These are webmasters from the last 4 years we have been in operation in one way or another.
Nobody, and I mean NOBODY who has never had an account with us would have gotten this mail. The "New User" who says he doesn't have an account... UMMMM... DOES HAVE account.
Everyone here should know by now of the STELLAR track record we have at Triplexcash.Comment

We have direct mailed affiliates.. but they are registered with us.. At least when we sent them something it was for a $200 bonus they could get for sending more sales if they mailed the voucher back to us..
It was expensive to get that flyer to you.. think of it like this.. 10,000 webmasters x 37 cents = $3700 .. Most of that shit ends up in the garbage.. but it does strike the attention of alot of people in most cases.

If I get one that's fine with me, I have an affiliate account with them. Id rather see them sending me snail mail rather then email as snail mail costs them alot more money per sent mail.
I see people bitching all the time about snail mail spam, yet I never see anyone bitching about email spam to such an extent. Like, it's ok for a company to send you spam at a fraction of a cent, rather then upwards of 1/3-2/3 of a dollar. If I get snail mail spam, that's fine. The company took the time to send it and pay for it, so my time throwing it in the trash is worth it for them. Where as, My email inbox is very important to me. I do business through it hourly, which is usually over good amounts money. Id rather see more spam in my mailbox than in my inbox.

I got two (of the same thing) and thought it was stupid. I wasn't any more upset than I am when I receive other junk mail though, it isn't a big deal.
I didn't understand it though.. it was mailed to all teenrev affiliates who obviously know of the program because they signed up, so what's the point? To remind them about it? I know about teenrev, I know their ratios suck for me, and a piece of paper isn't going to make me say.. shit, I should promote them again! They sent me a letter, awesome!
Seems like a waste of money unless you're offering something cool that you have to get the word out, like an extra 10-20% for a month or some shit. But, it's not my money so I don't give a fuck.Comment
