                theres a ton of parties planned for san diego. nothing would really conflict anyhow. everything is so close, you can make it to all of them. i personally am involved with 3 so far on three different nights.

                        ohmigawd! ok so check this out. buju, i know his spiritual side, and you're right - i don't think he'd ever do a show that he saw as 'for' porn.

                        but the one that got my attention was notch. i was a video director in a previous life for bands on tour (you know that screen behind them with video) and notch was singing with thievery corporation when i toured with them in '02. he's a little bit of a primadonna but he'd be great fun and i'd imagine he'd be down for it - i don't know about his current band.

                        slighty stoopid would definitely associate with porn. keep us posted! i lived in grenada for about 6 months when i was 17 and i've been attached to reggae as my favorite form of music to listen to and what i play ever since.

                                I love Notch, I'll be you're probably about the only other person in our industry besides KB that knows who he is.

                                I'm making a strong push for Barrington. Just got off the phone with LAJ, looks like the 14th, tuesday would be the targeted date. From 5:30 pm til 9:00 pm. If we did it by the pool, I need the sun to do it's job so I don't have to pay $10k in lights.

                                        OK, so far it looks like we can do it by the pool at the hotel.

                                        I might take another type of sponsorship for the kegs. If anyone is interested, it's probably around $1300 for the beer, paid the hotel.

                                        They have a huge outdoor area that would be perfect for this reggae or rock band that we hire.

                                        Tuesday the 14th from 5:30 til 9:00 pm.

                                            i wonder if there is a local house lighting designer who'd be interested in doing the show for his portfolio essentially - less cost in lighting, just a thought. i'm pushing for levy too!
