I drove from north scottsdale to baseline in tempe... I saw over 11 Z's and not one S2K ..
I think the Z market is very saturated. My s2k never disappoints for an overpriced go-kart feel

Actually sucked ass first half of march, then it got better and i'm back to about 0 loss, we'll see how it goes in the longer run, my friend has been pulling about 30% monthly on average since he started, probably a little less with march. You don't see many of either kind here so it's not really a factor. However since we have snow i'll probably go with the Z as it has traction control which the S2k doesn't have. I don't really care about the Evo getting owned, there will always be a riced enough car to beat yours, doesn't really matter. The Evo is a formidable car nonetheless.

Buy the s2000 if you want a car that handles like it's on rails, and that sings at 9000 rpm. Buy the 350z if you want to fit in with the rest of the fifty million 350z owners, and don't mind a car that handles nowhere near as well as the s2000.

If it has a convertible i'd say the s2000, and get a Mugen hardtop , hehe.
I work on hondas and nissans daily on the side from my own garage. I'm a diehard nissan guy personally, but unfortunately i cant stand the Z convertible. Plus the s2k being able to rev to 9k is some good fun.SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.Comment

The newer S2000 revs only at 8000 now with the bigger displacement engine. Still creates 240hp but torque is a bit increased and available at lower RPM which means better drivablity.
What i'm worried about the S is the radio sucks ass and it's an aging model. Plus you really gotta punish the car to get performance out of it. There's not a lot of curvy roads around here either so the difference in handling won't affect me that much.
You rarely see the Z around here also.
