settle our bet about the best TGP software

    AutoGallery SQL vs Comus Thumbs?

    Which do you like better?
    Which is easiest to setup?
    Which offers the better support?

A paid full night of drinking this weekend goes to the winner. My friend says says Autogallery SQL cause everyone puts a link back to their site at the bottom of their pages. I told her its the free script and they have to do that.

    thx

Both have their good points and bad points.

It really depends on what you plan on doing with your tgp as to what software you buy. Because one may not work with a particular function you want.

As far as the link back to jmbsoft at the bottom of the autogallery script all versions have it but you can pay an extra 75 dollars to have it removed.

Say for someone just starting out with a TGP but has had her own sites for a while. She knows the webmaster skills and background pretty well just hasn't gotten into TGP other than submitting to them.

Also which supports traffic trade scripts cheap enough where you don't have to shell out $500 for?

I use AGSQL I know very little about scripts and installing them but installing it took minutes.
The interface is very easy to use and it only gets better for every update. It take a couple of hours to figure out how to insert the different text that will make the galleries show up but when its mastered it is so easy to use.
I love AGSQL and when you start out messing with TGP´s its has all the features you need and then some. Its a great script at a very low price.
I needed support once I posted on their board and got the answer I needed quickly

I tried to install the free comus version to see what it was all about but gave up so I really can´t say anything about comus.

autogallery by far. Comus is the perfect example of bloated software with very little organization.
                I like pie.

I'm leaning her toward Comus now.

Anyone out there interested in trading traffic with a new boobs TGP?

AGS isnt free to my knowledge?

If you'd like to test out some TGP software that will compete with comus i'm about to release public, and have free access to it, ICQ me.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

I wouldn't recommend either right now
but Comus has to win, since he's smart enough to have a free version that gives him control of 2% (or more) of the traffic running thru so many sites

traffic = money and that was a smart move
