Usually a new sponsor takes them on and uses them for their contacts for a few weeks or a few months, then after all their contacts are used up the sponsor cans them yet still has all of their contacts promoting their programs.

Ive never understood the affiliate manager role and what they make and their usefulness. I've been making adult sites for 6-7 years and in all that time, I've never come across a affiliate manager to do anything useful for me. Contrary, most of them fuck up the most basic things. SO maybe they do good shit for the high rollers or something, it's all a mystery to me

They should probably start out working for themselves... so they will be more understanding of why a webmaster usually comes to them when theyre at their wits end, very demanding, and whiny. You need to be available most of the time because when it comes to the point where they need something from you, they more than likely need it NOW.... like if they're updating links and need galleries, I try to just get all that for them so they don't have to do anything.Originally posted by Mike33
