The prophecy says that when the last Pope of the 20th century and also the first Pope of the 21st century dies, then he will be replaced by the Jewish Pope.
Now, among the contender for the Pope's succession is Cardinal Lustiger of Paris, France who happens to have been born Jewish right before WW2, he was hidden by a Christian family during the war and stayed Christian after the war was over.
Anyways, if that happens, then the end of the world will be near.

All I know is all hell will break loose when John paul passes on. You know it, I know it. Mabus, in my opinion is. Mohamed Abas (or commonly referred to as M. Abas in print) - the new leader of Palistine. According to Nostradamus, Mabus will be killed by the third anti-christ shortly after coming into power and the retaliation for this is WW3 = end of the world.
So, put the two together. We get a new pope who dies shortly there after (or quits) and then we get the final Pope - Peter The Roman. While all of this is happening, M. Abas is killed by the third anti-christ as a result of or resulting in the nuking of Jerusalem which leads to WW3 and the end of the world. Tough to say who the third anti-christ is but if all things line up, he is alive right now and probably a world power right now!
Now throw in what the bible says in Revelations...
Revelations 21: 1-3 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. I also saw the holy city, a new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, God's dwelling is with the human race. He will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will always be with them (as their God).
Cannot have a new Jerusalem unless the old one is gone.
Bottom line = end is near!
