A lot of designers, and program owners would benefit from applying simple web usability concepts. So many sites are poorly designed from a user standpoint.
Whenever I have a new site built, or redesign an existing site. I always ask friends/surfers to take a look, and comment.
This information is invaluable.
Some things that seem so obvious to you, are not even noticed by average users.
You designed it, so you are aware of what *you* think users should be clicking on, looking at, etc. You may be surprised to find out they aren't noticing what you thought would be *so* obvious.
Order this book, and read it. It's a small investment that will payoff quite nicely.
