My flight out of Vegas late Fri. night was first delayed by at least an hour - it was late arriving. Then, as we are on the way to the runway there's an issue with the internal lights. Back to the departure gate so a technician can sort it out ... another hour later and we are finally ready to take off.
The guy behind me has an issue with the tray and smartly alerts the attendant who tries to fix it. He says if he can't fix it ... back to the gate as it's a safety hazard.
Luckily, everything worked out and we finally departed at something like 2:30am (originally scheduled for midnight), arriving in TO a full 2 hours late.
Not the worst airline story I've had (or heard) but not a pleasant way to spend the night!
