You will never see the business die. It is regulated by an invisible hand. The business will adapt, change, but not die.

I could care less about this spammer because I earn more than him. And, when he learns how I earn more than him, he will cease to be a spammer. In the meantime he earns, I earn, and we co-exist. Do I care about the industry as a whole? Of course not. I care about number one. Remember, it doesn't matter if I care, the invisible hand cares more than enough.

On a final note : Webaster's with true intelligence, talent, and ingenuity will prosper due to the actions of these SE spammers (which, in turn, helps that invisible hand).
