My place in MI is in a rural area, "no other option" there, but I also travel constantly, the card allows me to work on the road literally
They are pretty much a glorified dial-up, but it's 10x faster than what I had and beats driving into town everyday and wondering who is checking out my screen
As for uploading large files, I'll upload 200MB+/- a day, which was impossible with the dial-up.
You get 15 days to return it with no charges, more than enough time to take it to your favorite spots and test it. If it doesn't work, take it back
But I would only recommend it if you're on dial-up or traveling.
