Madthumbs not taking partner submits anymore?

It seems like the madthumbs submit page is down...Also all of the galleries that I had that were up were removed...And I submitted as recently as four days ago.

So is the party over?...If so, it was a good run. I ain't mad at em.

I just checked on GTS and it sppears he is asking $2000 for 30 days...with that kind of money for a paid spot, I would go fully paid spots too

What if SE-reliant sites start dropping in the SERPs and the only incoming
links they have in the future, are those they get from paying advertisers?

"TGP suicide", Blogs take over completely, their profits shrink due to
SERP + searchterm saturation & overflow..
What's the next thing after Blogs.. *nothing*

I believe blogs will evolve for a long time. Some TGPs are established and will evolve but the new players in the TGP game are in for a rude awakening.

They have the right to do whatever they want with their site and their traffic...The writing was on the wall years ago that the little man would get squeezed...Back when I submitted a lot, I knew that I would have to make a CAREER of submitting to grow or maintain traffic and would be dismayed after seeing all that hard work fade away in two days if I stopped submitting...Fortunately I saw the trend and did what I had to do to make sure that I survived and grew traffic without depending on submissions to do it. Which is why I'm here chillin and not complaining about what I knew would happen anyway...

I for one am not going ANYWHERE and a tgp submit pass shouldn't make or break anybody.

As for TGP's over the past years a clear "monopoly" (not in a sense of only one provider but a restrict access) has been growing and growing...and such has both the good parts and the bad ones ;)

Given the fact you've got the privilege of posting there at all, I'd happily take the 10 sub limit, say thanks, and find another place to spread those other galleries out. Unless it's paid for, and with a set limit in contract, I wouldn't have the audacity to post complaining that you're allowed "only" 10 galleries daily. The traffic is worth its weight in gold (not to infringe on DG's slogan of course ) Never look a gifthorse in the mouth they say, it might bite.
