Ric's like a brother to me. Someone that is not like most of the adult characters you meet on the boards. He probably knows more about me and my life then anyone else. I took the train in earlier today to NY to go see him today and stayed there for 3 hours. He is in the SICU and stable. When the nurse tried to wake him he opened his eyes and looked at me and did a ric smile. He is heavily medicated so he doesnt know whats going on and is sleeping. He is doing better then he was before the nurses told me and his fever went down from the 103 that it was at before.
It was very hard for me to see him like that. It was nice to meet his mom and to bring some comfort to her life. I told her what a great son that she has and offered my support. As vin said, Please say a prayer for him. Ric is a very strong person and I know he will not give up with out one hell of a fight.
I have realized alot lately by having my father go under the knife a couple weeks ago for back surgery and know having to see ric like this . Life is too short for all of the BS that many of us get mad over. Money is not everything . Your health, family and friends are the most important things in life.
