I'd like to point out that it's impossible to be racist against someone because of an ideology they hold. Islam is an ideology, not a race, hence one cannot be racist against a Muslim because of his or her faith in Islam.

In terms of being racist against Arabs, Arabs tend to be caucasian so it would be tough for a caucasian person to be racist against them in general.

But then again, racism is an overused word which is not understood by many people. Hence the popularity of using the 'race card' as a mask of the bigger, often misunderstood, issue. The 'race card' is also used extensively by people who try to show how 'enlightened' and 'right on' they are, at the expense of other people who might have a legitimate gripe or who wish to simply tell the truth. An example is the Council on American Islamic Relations who routinely use the race card against anyone who has the honesty to point out that Islam mandates death or slavery for non-Muslims or that Muhammad had sex with a 9 year old.
