A true civilized society allows for the minority and the alternate thinker. A racist in the terms of someone who is biased against a race or creed, is harmless.. its the combination of a racism and fanatics that cause the problem. That being said Muslims are not a bad thing either, but Muslim fanatics are.. because the tend to be Jihadists. Just as Muslims have terrorists and warring nations amongst themselves as a result of rampant poverty and religious zealots, we have our own form of that here in the US.
