YES: he's a showman. No different from a drama poster on GFY or any other board. Takes an issue. Finds a hotbutton angle, plays it to the outrage/drama of the other members. It's a call and response mastery that you see played out in any public gathering...whether it's a radio talkshow or a concert or a rally...etc. That's his main gig. Get the reader/viewer excited about the topic. Appeal to common moral outrage. Appeal to "common sense" morality
NO: His ideological inconsistency and pseudo-populism may be a source of ironic humor to some but I find it annoying. The only consistency with him is the smug "I am right" attitude. If he can't battle based on facts, he'll bully based on 'canned moral positioning'.
Ultimately, O'Reilly means one thing--RATINGS!Comment
