For the record I am not for fascism or dictatorships at all, only stating what I believe to be true if the war were to of taken another path. I am happy enough for the way things turned up, but I think we were incredibly fortunate that a nuclear war did not result from the idiotic partnership between the Soviet Union. Furthermore, unlike most Europeans and Americans, I am much more aware of the Soviet attrocities that resulted from that partnership in WWII. Personally, as stated earlier in this post, I admire Patton's perspective on the matter at the time to be closer to that of my own. |

but one thing is clear by now: Hitler was on the verge of erasing the jewish religion from this planet, he systematically killed all gays, disabled, sinti & roma and also all people that openly opposed his politics.
did he do good things? like growing economics? sure, by building tanks, warships, planes, weapons of all kinds.
he invented the Autobahn? wrong, the italiens did - but Hitler considered it a good idea and built lots of them - to have faster supply of troups and material.
Hitler planned war and destruction already in the 1920ies when he sat in prison - he wrote it in his book. Too bad that no one actually read it.
