I have noticed that most of the singers that make it to the top these days have a very limited range. No doubt there are some bands with singers with talented vocals out there but the limited range style seems to be more popular at the moment. I am a punk fan so I don't mind a bit of 'out of tune on purpose' singing but on the other hand when you listen back to voices like Freddie Mercury you realise how talented he was as a vocalist.Comment
