If you want long battery life (three hours = long) then go for some of the middle-end P4M's (stay away from Celeron Ms if you need long battery life!). Also, for a longer battery life, you will ususally have to get a smaller screen. If you don't care about battery life (80-90 minutes or so) then go for the low-end sempron mobiles. I paid about $1200 for an HP in December and later that model and it's successsor were going for $799 in Office Depot and a 1 week sale for $599. Not sure if a rebate was involved. For basics as mentioned above (surfing, photo editing, etc.) it is fine. It does have wireless built in..Comment
