How to improve? High traffic, low money.

I have a site that has lot of traffic, almots 30k per day unique visits and 300k pages views.

It have lot of links to rapidshare with full movies, but i want to change the site to stop linking to illegal stuff and to build a good website.

It has alexa 10k and its growing faster. I cant give url right now, but will give asap.

I want to know how to improve this website, as has not ads and not affiliates. I want to start monetizing this. Thanks to all for the help.

Hard to say without knowing the site. I'm guessing a forum of some sort. (maybe movie downloads). Depends on site & niche.

basically the problems is that traffic its from people that dont want to pay for movies, so, i have to try to turn this into a good place, to download not illegal stuff

In that case ...

1. Sell dating (free emails) by promoting homemovies for download. Everyone loves dating, dating sells, free signups are easy, and your surfers will probably love homemovies more than professional (create some bullshit post about giving this slut wife instructions in an email, and her and her hubby doing it and posting up the home movie!!)

2. VOD. Get a VOD sponsor to make you a CUSTOM theatre. Choose your prices , give away special offers, so on.

There are plenty of good VOD sponsors here. I wont spam you with codes. Most pay on a % basis and you earn whenever a surfer downloads a movie. Since movie downloading can be cheap and addictive, the money adds up. Having your own custom theatre made is FREE and looks professional (which, thus, increases sales).

3. Sell your traffic. When in doubt about how to convert your traffic, forget about it, and sell it to webmasters who know how to convert it.

You could setup an epassporte account. Charge X amount for 7 days, 30 days, based on position on your site.

In your case, this might be the quickest rout to earning. I'm sure you could sell postions on GFY today. In fact, I bet you could sell all available positions, based on the site & stats.
