I think that the "something missing" is that each of the illustrations while very well done, is separate from the scene. They don't look like they are part of the header or the site, but were rather simply placed there.Originally posted by Batts
Personally, using that theme, I would go with a caricature of Mr. Pink with strong eyes staring directly at the surfer. One of the girl angels on one shoulder and the devil cartoon (or maybe a gay guy devil version of the angle) on the other shoulder.
This is a common recognizable "Good vs. Evil" theme and would also brand the image of Mr. Pink that could be used in simpler versions of banner ads, etc.

By the way, we didn't do the logo as such. Just the characters all individually, which is what Mr Pink requested. We did the second angel VERY similar, almost mirrored, because again, Mr Pink requested that. Also, the colors have changed. But anyways... :D
