    Look at my bird now............

    After a long time of determination with Fred over the weekend, I WON.........





    Those were taken first thing Sunday morning.

    All I did this weekend, besides sit in front of the computer, was work with this guy until he succumbed to my love. After this break through he sat on my shoulder, and played with my necklace, as I worked all day. He is such a little ass but in a funny way now. We are starting to bond and understand eachother.

    Thank you guys for all your help. The best way to get someone to love you is make them hahahaha

                                                      I had a couple parakeets and cockatiels when I was growing up. The cockatiels are just the sweetest when they're tame. Very affectionate. The last one I had stayed on the little playpen on top of his cage all day and would go in the cage at night.

                                                                              I found a play pen for him that would sit perfectly on his cage. I am getting it tonight so when he isn't on my shoulder he can have his playpen. I hoping that when he is bored with his playpen he will just fly to my shoulder when he wants a kiss or to be aggravated. hehe I am so happy about him.

                                                                                      oh I know u like ur bird but if u planning to let him out of hid cage and fly around be prepared to clean lots of poop it will be everywhere!!! + this little bird wakes up very early so be prepared to hear a song early in the morning about 5-6am also this breed like to masturbate a lot but that?s kind of cool but other then that it will be ok and make sure to clean his cage every week or it will stink. I know all this cuz I had the same exact bird. But other then that congrats and have fun with him!

                                                                                                                                  Well with the ritual of giving him fresh food and water before bed I swap out his paper towels. It takes about 1 minute to change everything out. I cover him at night so he doesn't wake me up I wake him up. He is on the path of becoming a great bird. I have just begun to concur the basics of training. Next the advance training.

I have always wanted a African Grey. They IMO are the best birds. I will take them on any day. After this I will take any animal. Nut I have to say I am scared at what next will show up in the front of my house. Haha

HARD! they are one person birds, and other people are in danger. She is my wifes bird.
