k i watch CNN mostly between the two but im not much of a tv guy anyway. Ok Ill admit CNN is my homepage

but whats the beef with fox news? I can understand cuz they have Geraldo but is there anything else I should know?

Ummm...they seem to be very biased towards the republican agenda.

Also, Bill O'reilly, that guy is a fucking moron.

He speaks over people and doesn't really listen to the opinions and then shuts em down before they even get to throw out a good point.

If you remember FOX news was created right before the afganistan / iraq war (if the two can even be compared, oh wait, they can't, they have nothing to do with each other...but you won't hear that on fox news).

My problem with them is they contantly claim they are fair and balanced when they clearly aren't. Of course any good reporter will show signs of favoritism in whatever story they cover because they are reporting about something they probably have a strong opinon on.

I mirror what other's said about O'Reilly. Not only does he always cut off his guests so they barely get to make a point, but I have no idea where this dude gets some of his info.

Well, you still have to keep in mind that in their business, they all are trying to keep up with the Jone's. I am not saying any other U.S. network is completely clean of the Fox News b.s., I am saying they are worse than most of the others as a whole.

However, all network news has gone the way of sensationalized, trival reporting. All fighting for ratings. If you ask most of America if they feel the world is safe, they would say no, but the FBI's own statistics for the past 2-3 decades show crime has been on the decrease, but people are more afraid.

News is a business.

Fox news gives both sides including the conservative side. The majority of American's are conservative. They have a larger market than liberal biased news stations.

There is an amazing trend in the ratings of cable news networks.

I've watched Fox, I don't notice anything amiss either. GFY would have you believe Fox is a Nazi organization. Maybe it's a little right of center, but nothing at all extreme nor more susceptible to and/or supportive of propaganda than CNN or any other outlet.
