    Fuck Webair Assholes

    i bought a hosting package from them yesterday and changed one of my domains over to thier DNS hoping that the shit would be completed by today, the mother fuckers send me this bull shit LOL , i dont have a scanner and if i did i wouldnt fucking waste my time sending my ID , t6his is fucking unheard of.

                                                                  yeah, even places like submitpass are doing it and they and a lot of hosting places don't just want it for flagged accounts but all new accounts. i don't see how it prevents cc fraud. if these guys can get stolen cc cards i doubt getting fake IDs faxed would be much of a problem. also i don't give that kind of info to just anyone. who knows what one of these places might do with your infomation. although some offer alternatives like paying with paypal or epass which is nice.

                                                                                                  I don't see why you are making such a big deal out of this unless you were going to use your account for something shady, this could explain your upset reaction.

                                                                                                  When one could apply for .eu I applied for several domains, I also needed to fax my info and sign the forms. Such a little task isn't worth bothering about it.

                                                                                                                                                                      Regardless, you should always keep a detailed list of all those that have a copy of your drivers license (bank, etc) so that you know who to look at if your identity is ever stolen.
