    Does the wordpress plugin "Oldest to Newest" negatively affect SEO?

      You are never going to get a decent answer here on anything SEO related here. There are basically a handful of people who can give you a competent answer, and they won't. The short answer however, is no. Any seo question about a single component, also assumes you do everything else well.

          In my opinion there is no benefit moving content like that. Once a post is made you'd gain maximum benefit from leaving it as is.

              Nothing is moved. The static page for the post always exists at its own URL. It's simply re-linking to that post from the index page again.

                                      I don't like to mess around with posts after they've been posted unless I'm fixing an error in a link or the rare occasional misspelling of a word.

                                      I think google has all kinds of information that could work negatively in your favor if you're trying to regenerate post dates using that plugin.

                                      New blog posts are pretty easy to write anyway, I'd just keep things updated if I were you.

                                          I've used it a lot, never detected any effects, positive or negative.

                                          It's value to me, is to give a repeat visitor something fresh to look at.
