That is stealing man. Walk into any sales office in any business in the world and ask them. So lets say you buy your computers from a rep at Dell who gets commissions. One day that Rep isn't there and you talk to another and he says he'll create a new account and be your new account rep? It's stealing and the cardinal sin in any sales office.

In that situation you have two choices. Help the person and then inform the main sales rep and ask for a cut. Or tell them you can't help them at all.

Try that shit in a mainstream sales environment and you'll be on your ass in no time.
